Serviceable, garden variety, American-style Mexican restaurant. Re fried beans, etcetera. I ordered chicken enchiladas verde. It arrived quickly on a hot plate. There's little that's special to recommend here but I won't warn you off either.

Great food, huge portions, but most of all, INCREDIBLE service! If you're looking for something authentic, this is the place. World's best hostess, Eva!

They have the best salsa ever. Great food & friendly service. Large portions, usually my husband & I will do the "pick 3" and never eat it all. Love the pollo blanco too

The best Mexican food in FL. I'm from Southern California and I miss the great Mexican food there...this is the closest I have found in the state. The Salsa actually has jalapeno, onions, and cilantro (so tired of the Ragu salsa you find everywhere else in FL). The only reason for not getting the 5th star is: (1) I have high Mexican Food expectations given the Southwest US restaurants I've been to, (2) the wait staff usually messes up my order...still good food, but they just can't seem to ever get it right. The chicken mole enchiladas are some of the best I have had anywhere. If your not into that much complex spice, try their fajitas...can't go wrong. Lastly, If you want to add some classic Mexican atmosphere...go there on Friday night when they have a mariachi band playing. Love it!

Love this place. Been here a few times. Best Mexican food this CA girl has found in these parts. Service is fast, efficient and friendly. Food and prices are great. Can't go wrong with the fajitas or the macho burrito! Huge and tasty. Carne Asada is also really good.

It's been over a year since my last visit and review here. In all fairness a update to my review was warranted after our visit tonight, Although the restaurant was mostly full we were seated immediately and this was the start of the excellent service we received all evening. Edgar was our server tonight and he was very attentive, extremely friendly sporting a great personality and provided a level of service we weren't expecting. The warm chips and salsa arrived just about the same time we were seated. Edgar introduced himself as the chips were being placed on the table he took out drink orders offered to get us anything else before returning to take our dinner order. - Cocktails - Ice Cold 22 oz Dos Equis with fresh limes very good we also ordered a House Margarita although I prefer the "patron preferred" this was well made both served in a very heavy frozen glass. - Carne Asada - Perfectly grilled skirt steak seasoned perfectly served with rice, beans and a roasted jalapeño. ( this is my absolutely favorite dish here) - Steak Fajitas - Tender steak skillet grilled with onions and peppers served with sour cream, cheese, pico, and guacamole with fresh tortillas. very nicely done also served with rice and beans. Over-all experience tonight gets them two addition stars and a future return visit....

The food was very mediocre. The retried beans were cold and had no flavor, the corn tortillas were crumbling, and I tried two different margaritas - both of which tasted like a soap product. The food was out on the plate in a very pre-packaged looking fashion. The rice looked can shaped, the beans were probably frozen in a taco shell bowl, and it didn't come together well on the plate at all. The guacamole was delicious, but everything else needs a lot of work. The atmosphere was cold and the service was average.

We were visiting family and went to Azteca for dinner and were pleased by how nice this place looked. We were greeted by the staff and had Carlos for our server. We asked for a few slices of avocado for our son to snack on, and after 10 minutes of not seeing Carlos or the avocado I went and got the hostess that got them for us. Once we finally ordered and got our food my lamb (which Carlos recommended) was cold inside and my wife got the wrong dish. After asking the hostess to find Carlos for the 3rd time I sent the lamb back and 12 minutes later a new plate came back and it was SO hot inside that I'm sure they put it in the microwave on high that whole time. My wife was done and my son was ready for bed so I just got mine to go after taking 1 bite (which wasn't that good anyway). No one ever apologized, or made any attempt to make up for our HORRIBLE experience. To make it worse they charged us $6 for a guacamole to give my son 3 pieces of avocado (which I expected to pay for, but not that much). This place looks nice, but the food was terrible as was the service and it was SUPER overpriced at $15 per dinner for basically stew beef and some beans. WE WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!

Ok this place is so cool. I went because my friends in new Smyrna love this place. We went on a Tuesday and every Tuesday is Taco Tuesday which means all you can eat tacos for 5 yes 5 bucks. They told me to order the chicken soft tacos because they were the best. My friend Andy had the beef tacos as well and said the chicken was better. The quality of the tacos were great, they were not tight on the fillings either, I mean they really stuff those tacos. The service was on par. They have specials every night but I can promise you I'll be back on a Tuesday, Taco Tuesday!!

Since the new owners, this place is officially the best Mexican in town. Can't wait to visit home and eat here. ALSO any place that has churros got my vote.

Cheap Mexican food. They had 2 for 1 margaritas and I couldn't taste the alcohol so I asked for 2 in 1. The food upset both of our stomachs and was greasy and not very flavorful.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
